Kimberly Bowen, Senior Vice President of Global Talent & Inclusion for Unum shares four tips to help companies move past the quiet quit phenomenon.

Kimberly joined Unum in June 2019 as the vice president of global head talent acquisition before her promotion to senior VP of global talent and inclusion in 2022. In this role, her team of 180 employees and her are responsible for the global vision and execution of the talent management and inclusion and diversity strategies for the company.
With over 22 years of experience in the human resources space, Kimberly has been responsible for all facets of HR, including talent acquisition and management, employee relations, inclusion and diversity, compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and learning and development. Additionally, her career has spanned multiple industries, including retail, healthcare, third party staffing, outsourcing, and financial services. In addition to roles in human resources, she has held positions in sales and operations.
Kimberly earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, in Marion, Indiana, and will soon receive her master’s degree in organization leadership from the same university.
She lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband and three children. Kimberly is proud to serve as secretary of the board for Chambliss Center for Children, as well as vice president of the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chattanooga. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
